Breakfast time

A weekend in France is perfect to relax. That’s my excuse to go, at least :). The weekend of October 24th I headed to the region north of Strasbourg, to make some photos of the Eurocity trains that were running their last kilometers.
I first stopped in Wilwisheim, also home to an awesome bakery, to eat breakfast and wait for what was going to come. Amazing how many TGV’s I got to see on a limited time. Among them, this TGV Réseau in new Carmilloin livery.

The very next train was a nice one: a Europorte tanker train, in soft Autumn light.

Last but not least, the first Eurocity came through. Next stop will be Strasbourg. Notice, in the back, the new high speed line, which was the final reason to stop running the Belgium – Switzerland Eurocity services.
