Autumn season is there: time to get into the night again. I started the new season with a warming up session in Wetteren. Testing a new addition to the gear, and learning more about which spots are suitable for this type of photography.
This was a very ice photo to make. Getting the gear set up using feeling only, tweaking location and gear until things were the way I wanted them to be. During all this time, no bike or pedestrian came by. It was perfect to get into it again. The train pictured was the most interesting one of the evening. Hauled by a mainline diesel (who knows how long this will last), it connects the Kluizendock in the port of Ghent with Mortara in the north of Italy. It’s usually a colorful and well loaded train, no exception today.
