Saturday September 24th, last day of my Czech and Slovak adventure. I went back to the place where the adventure in Czech republic began a couple of days ago. After the shower
Long driving around finally brought me to a spot between Ceska Trebova and Zabreh. I was expecting quite some traffic here. What makes a photo location a good one? Among my criteria are a nice landscape as back- or foreground, no clutter like communication masts or fences, and “peace and quiet”. You don’t see the last criterium on the photo, but it makes the waiting nice. Recent Skoda power
One of the most recent Skoda electrics hauls an international train from Prague to Zilina through the curves around Bezpravi. Most of the trains here are loco-hauled – very interesting for us railfans. Only exception I saw were the Leo-express Flirt trains, but those are actually quite nice to look at. Shades in the valley

End of the day on the river bank
I temporarily ended my journey along the Elbe river at Dolni Berkovice. The railway line runs along the river here, as does a bike lane on the other bank. This makes for comfortable waiting. A familiar sounding location
