New trains on old crossings

On Sunday, right before starting the long way home, I spent some time in Güterglück. I was hoping that the name of the town suggested something about the train traffic. Sand to Luxemburg

An evening out with a friend brought me along the Athus-Meuse line. In the last light of a warm summer evening, we were able to make a photo of this train descending towards Virton. I think this must be the sand train connecting Lommel and Pétange. Continue reading Sand to Luxemburg
