Almost an extinct species: one of the last remaining green engines in front of the regional train to Lugano was a beautiful distraction from the freight trains. We noticed something was wrong when we didn’t see any freight movements anymore for a while. At Erstfeld, we found out there was a problem with the ETCS signalling system further down the line.
